I loved my fp-l in every way except AF. Switched to a S9 which has great AF. I miss the absolute minimalism of the sigma. If I had unlimited funds I’d keep one for landscape work but if I added a second camera it’s probably be the s1rii for its middle resolution but also a shutter and EVF.

The Sigma FP and FP L are both smaller than the S9, but they have some quirks. No IBIS is a big one. Bad autofocus is another. I love my FP L, but it’s a very “special” little camera. Everyone saying there are no other options, need to google.

Hi Former FP & FP L owner here. I've also owned a xt 3. I really like the FP & the FP L. It is very compact and very dense. It is one of the smallest full frame bodies I've come across and when paired with the sigma I series lenses makes for a very portable unit. If you like megapixels the FP L with

V1 is amazing if you like wide angles. I love them so it’s a perfect fit for me. I’ve carried a nex5 with 16mm, x70, nex5 win 10-18 then 10-20, xm5 with 10-18 sigma and the s9 with the 18-40 all skiing. And I had the sigma fp-L which I loved but AF forced me to the S9. I’ve also skied with full blow

Be prepared for bad AF. Even the go-L which has better AF is still bad. E shutter has quirks and sigmas version has banding in weird lighting. Both sigma and Panasonic have movement issues when things get diagonal. And no hot shoe/flash. I tried both the fp-L and S9 to replace an xm5/xe4. I loved th
