First Pair of IEMs

My recommendations: SennheiserIe600 - v similar to your hdb630Ie900 - More refined but ie600’s tuning to me feels more exciting for all genres For both models, the cable to iem connectors can be a little loose (based on the ones I have) so be careful. What appeals to me most is how small they are si

Just bought a couple of gifts for myself

Thank you! It was absolutely worth doing my own research before I bit the bullet😀I'd say that right now I prefer the HD660S2, compared to my HD600 it's more comfortable and the bass extension on it is more to my tastes, though the pads on the 600 are third party Soulwit Cooling Gel ones(put on by th

Advice for Blues Headphone

If you're in the US, the HD 6XX (recolored HD 650) gives you all the performance of those at half the price. While I like the 660S2 a lot, it's pretty overpriced right now for this market. If I were going to spend that kind of money, I'd go with the HD 490 Pro or Meze 105 AER and get better performa

Headphones primarily for music, 200-250 range?

besides sennheiser hd660s2, another suggestion would be Hifiman Ananda Stealth which I think is great for metal music. however its comfort is hit and miss so I'd still go for hd660s2 for longer listening.

From AirPods Max to Sennheiser HDB 630 — a journey worth sharing

Question for the crowd: do you get listening fatigue with the HDB630? Background: I was visiting the E-earphone store in Tokyo, which is absolute heaven btw, and tested a bunch of different headphones. I'm still figuring out my primary use case (home vs travel) which will ultimately define my choice

Sennheiser HD650/660S2 vs HDB630: is it worth switching from open-back to wireless?

I couldn't make the HDB630 phone app EQ engage reliably using Android. It might work better with iOS. I do not like the minimized sizing of all Sennheiser or Sony wireless headphones I've tried, and the comfort falls far behind so many wired headphones, and maybe especially the HD550/HD560S, and the

Soo, everyone likes these, right? ... Right?

Yes. I'm still using sennheiser HD 660S2 and 560S. I'm thinking to buy hd 800S soon. I don't like close back headphones.

HD660s -> HD660s2 – should I "upgrade"?

The S2 is a clean improvement over the S in basically every way. Whether that's worth the extra money is up to you; if it were me, I'd look at a pair of 6XX instead as (to my ears at least) they're pretty equivalent. But honestly, I don't see any reason to buy any of the 600 series (other than maybe

Help me select headphone for home setup (Blues).

Because it is a very good headphone, and takes EQ quite well. Also very comfortable, not that you mentioned that as a requirement. My personal reason would be for the bass, I dislike the bass rolloff in the 6xx series. Here is just one discussion comparing them: https://www.reddit.com/r/HeadphoneAdv

HD 620S vs HD 599 opinion

I think you have the same "issue" as me. Most people dismiss warm sounding headphones are wrong it seems and prefer the neutral audio. I, personally love the hd 598, 599, 660s2 sound, which is WARM sounding headphones. I also tried the hd620s - they're not bad but they aren't warm sounding, they can
