It finally happened. I heard something in an album I thought I knew by heart that I had never heard before.

Maybe it's my new Sennheiser HD 650 headphones. Maybe it's because I finally upgraded my college dorm room-budget set up I had had for a decade. Maybe it's because I was playing a half-speed Japanese pressing of Genesis' "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway".

But I heard horns in the background of a son

Impressions/Review of the Truthear Pure from an IEM noob

This is my first dive into IEMs. I already own and have owned many over ear headphones. Also, I am forced to do this on the abysmal app, so formatting isn't ideal.

BUILD AND COMFORT

For the price, I find it acceptable. The plastic shell feels sturdy enough, the cable gets the job done, the ear hoo

HD650 + MBP 14

This new MBP 14 really got everything I wanted. near no bezel design, no Touch Bar. MagSafe and ProMotion, 2X scaling factor. The notch design gives more vertical space just resolve my pain point using MBA. The webpage is just too wide.

One thing that was rarely mentioned is "3.5 mm headphone jack

What makes the HD 660s2 so good

The Sennheiser HD 660S2 headphones are a fascinating blend of Sennheiser's acoustic engineering prowess, taking cues from several successful models to create something truly special. At their core, the HD 660S2 headphones leverage advanced driver technology. While they don't explicitly reuse the HD

New Jot 2 owner

I’ve just plugged in my new Jot 2 this evening. I got it with the Phono input. Mega super early impressions are… thank god it sounds good. Right now the flow is Tidal > WIIM Pro (Optical out) > Emotiva XDA-3 (Single-ended) > Jot 2 > Hifiman Edition XS (1/4” jack)

I briefly listened to A Charlie Br

If I would want a headphone to emit a nice, pleasant neutral sound, but be sensitive to EQ tuning and good imaging/ soundstage, which headphones should I consider under 450 USD range?

If I would want to use these in neutral while gaming and movie watching, while tuned with EQ while listening to music, then what would be your suggestions?

I know that Sennheiser HD 560 is very good in soundstage but some people have complained about the harshness about it. How is it hars

Is buying HD 600 worth it if I already have HD 650?

The title says it. I have been using HD 650 for 5 months since I got them off eBay and I love everything about them – the mids are intimate and close, the bass I feel is like I don't want more, and the top end is just enough, everything sounds so sweet and melodic. I have never found them sibilant o
