HD600 vs HD620’s for gaming

I have both! I see a lot of people REALLY hate the 600’s for gaming and I don’t understand it, personally. They are more than adequate in competitive games. The separation and imaging are very good, I’ve never once heard a sound cue that I couldn’t find accurately. They are bass light, so I can see

Sennheiser HD 620S vs. HD 480 Pro: Which is the ultimate "Buy It For Life" choice for immersive gaming and movies?

Thanks for the recommendation! I’ve heard legendary things about the HD 660S2, and that 'cotton out of ears' feeling is exactly the kind of clarity I’m chasing. However, I’m worried about my environment. On full load, i can hear the fans of my pc, I have 4 Silent Wings Pro 4 fans running at 85% PWM

Looking for a pair of headphones for gaming and music.

I literally just got my hd620s yesterday. Very impressed. Despite not having anc, the passive noise insulation is good since it’s closed back, and yet they managed to make the sound stage open and airy, like an open back. It’s like the best of both worlds. I have $350 for a pair of headphones for gaming/ music/movies.

Just got the sennheiser hd 620s which is a closed back that’s supposed to emulate the wider soundstage in open backs. Really impressed so far, best of both worlds

Are the beyerdynamic dt 770 good for gaming because they are closed back?

Sennheiser HD 620S. Closed and isolating but with a reasonable soundstage and great imaging.

HD 650

HD 600 / 650 are amazing headphones, no doubt. The HD 600 is probably my favorite Sennheiser headphone in my collection. That said, they often need – or at least benefit - from a dedicated DAC/amp compared to just plugging them straight into your PC. It’s also true that they don’t have a particularl
