M5 vs HDB 630 vs HD 660S - Which should I get in My Situation?

If you want the best wireless sound + good ANC = buy HDB 630. If you want still great wireless sound + the best Sennheiser ANC, buy the M5. If you don’t necessarily need ANC and great passive isolation is enough and you are ok with wires, definitely check out the new HD 480 Pro! I‘d only buy the HD

Worth it for Gaming?

You might consider something in the HD 500 series along with the compatible-designed Sennheiser HD 500 BAM boom arm mic. Perhaps the HD 560S or the newer HD 550. The other option is the closed-back HD 620S for increased isolation. These are wired and should be budget friendly and fairly easy to driv

Recommendation for a new pair

If you want a pair of wireless headphones and have the money to spend, get the HDB 630 - they are fantastic! If not, the M4 is a great choice as well. As for wired headphones, my main recommendation right now is the HD 550 for an open-back headphone and the HD 620S for a closed-back headphone from S

Sennheiser HD 620S vs. HD 480 Pro: Which is the ultimate "Buy It For Life" choice for immersive gaming and movies?

Thanks for the recommendation! I’ve heard legendary things about the HD 660S2, and that 'cotton out of ears' feeling is exactly the kind of clarity I’m chasing. However, I’m worried about my environment. On full load, i can hear the fans of my pc, I have 4 Silent Wings Pro 4 fans running at 85% PWM

[LFH][PC][$400][Chile] Thinking of returning my Audeze Maxwell – what should I get instead?

ngl that popping would drive me nuts too. planar drivers are great until they're not. if you want something with that level of detail but more reliable, look into the Beyerdynamic DT 900 Pro X. they're open-back so soundstage is incredible for immersive games, and the build quality is tank-like. for

What on earth headphones?

Are you looking for closed-back or open-back headphones? One headphone I recommend that is within your budget is the Sennheiser HD 620S. It's a fantastic-sounding closed-back headphone, and it can be easily driven, even by the A306.

From XM4 to senheiser ?

Open-back: HD 550 Closed-back: HD 620S These would be my personal recommendations for you if you want to start with very good wired Sennheiser headphones :)

Should I buy the HD560s or HD620s as my first pair of audiophile headphones?

Both are good choices at the beginner level. Decent headphones. Neither is a mistake. That being said, the clear differentiation is the closed Vs open back design and the audio / practical trade off. If you are going to use them around others, or when travelling, then the closed back HD620 will serv

Are these headphones like really good for CS? I found a pair for $540 AUD, which is like $350 usd I’d say

For that price, I'd rather get some sennheiser's, headphone amplifier, and AT2020 mic w/ desk mount/swivel. Typically stuff marketed for gaming doesn't really mean it's good for gaming tbh. It's just marketing, and often gamer stuff is overpriced. Charging for RGB and stupid shii like that. These pr

Looking to get my first DAP

One headphone that is excellent for this use case is the Sennheiser HD 620S. It's a closed-back headphone and seals very, very well. Basically blocks out most noise through passive isolation and gives you a black background. It will sound fantastic for the music you listen to (I think we may also ha
