What headphones with ear Protections do you recommend?

Personally, I still use the Sennheiser HD 410's I bought in 1983. However, my 410's use foam ear pads, so there can be some bleed over when using them in the studio. Given that, if I were to recommend a set of headphones for recording and general playing, it would be the Sennheiser 280. Decent price

Headphones for drumming

Sennheiser HD 280 Pro is basically the only thing I've ever liked. I had the vic firth ones, but they just don't sound high quality. For buds, I use Etymotic ER3SE. Both have a lot of attenuation. What Headphones do you use?

Sennheiser HD 280 Pro. Perfect. Also blocks out wife and kids. No mic though.

Looking for Noise Cancelling Headphones for Use with FX6

I suggest never use sound canceling headphones when recording or editing audio. Get yourself some good old fashioned non-sound canceling cans and use your ears to your advantage. My current favorites are Sennheiser HD 280 Pro. I also never use blue tooth headphones for recording/edit.

Except for Vic Firth and GK Ultraphones, are there any good overears that actually isolate?

I'm a big fan of Sennheiser headphones. When it comes to isolation, it doesn't get pickier than in a recording studio. Those mikes can be pretty sensitive and any leakage is going to come back to the engineer. That's why they ALWAYS use over-ear headphones. While the website recommends HD 490 Pro's,
