It's actually a mount for the desk. The desk is the SecretLab Magnus XL, and they have an optional computer mount that attaches to the bottom of the desk. That way, raising and lowering the desk doesn't put any stress on the cables. Very handy, and one of the reasons I chose that desk!

I currently own a Secretlab magnus, but am planning on swapping to a Flexi. How are you looking yours so far? The secretlab is good, but it's too small for what I want. How is the Flexi when completely extended? Is it stable? Thanks in advance!

I did not purchase that one, but I did purchase This one and have been liking it! I chose the "outside" configuration so I could have the most room available to move my legs around. :)
