I have the scuf omega and the major difference for me is better response on all buttons. Smaller im size and smaller L R sticks. The sticks are also not high. Amd if you try to use cap covers they rub on the gate circle

Scuf Omega just released and is officially licensed by Sony. It's not cheap but I would consider that over the DS Edge if buying new. I have and use the edge but often find myself wanting the 4 back paddles instead of just 2. It is a great controller otherwise.

It doesnt need to do this, the ps5 / ps5 pro will automatically make it output correctly. 0 issues keeping it normal. Actually I find it has an edge over my edge somehow when set to 12bit. I built a solution for this: https://github.com/pedjaaaaa/Scuf-Omega-PS5-for-PC You have to set the controller to ps5 mode rather than pc and it loses the 1000hz polling and reverts to 250hz like a DS4. Other than that it works just like my other controller. The app adds very minimal latency.

I get that. There may be a workaround for Mac aside from using a virtual machine but I just switched to a scuf omega from the envision pro v2 and I absolutely love it. Sadly that’s only for PC and PS5 and envision is PC only. Wish I could use any of them on my Xbox. Which is why I got the valor. Eit

I use Scuf. If I didn't already have the Envision Pro, I would get the Omega; all the extra functionality is on the PC side, which can let you remap for your console side. In my experience, if you don't have at least a laptop, then you'd be better off getting the Edge

I own the Dual Sense Edge, SCUF Envision Pro, and SCUF Valor Pro. I have been on the fence about making a purchase of the new Omega. It appears to be the same as the Envision Pro; however, with slight modifications making it more PS5 specific. Personally, I favor the Omega over the Envision Pro base

i am using a scuf omega controller, at least there you never have to change out the sticks and you can use it on pc too (only xinput though but with 1000hz) and paddle placement is very good
