What keyboard should I buy?
Definitely not Nuphy. Nuphy has 3.0mm to 3.6mm key travel, thats basically regular MX keys. Lofree Lite100 is probably your best option. 2.8mm total travel stock switch, shortest of any prebuilt available. Shine thru keys, fairly quiet. Hot swappable. If you want shorter travel keys check out Kailh

Keyboard noob. Does something like this exist?
The only thing I can't come up with is a fullsize keyboard with no battery at all. You know you could always just remove the battery. In that case, I'd suggest, maybe, the Satechi SM3.
