OLED vs Glossy Mini-LED — My Experience After Owning and Returning Multiple OLED Monitors (Version 2)
I think I said it in your other post too, but if you get an S95F in there, it would blow any MiniLED out of the water. Heck, maybe even an S90F. You liked your QN90C better than an LG C series because OLED TVs below 55" behave a lot closer to monitors in terms of brightness than their larger variant

Static or active HDR - Samsung S95F OLED
Static is much more accurate. HDR is (or, is meant to be) an absolute format, the brightness should appear the same across different displays. The data for this is encoded in the HDR signal you receive (from your console or other media source). The display then has to account for its own capabilitie

Living room TV recommendation: LG OLED G5 VS. SAMSUNG S95F
The 77” Samsung S95F has a QD-OLED panel—only the largest 83” size TV uses the LG WOLED panel. That being said, since this is a living room TV, QD-OLED will suffer from raised black levels since you’ll be watching it with ambient light. I don’t think you’d be disappointed with either TV, but I agree

Matte vs glossy
Huh? I have a Samsung S95F and the blacks look ... Black. Inky. Like staring into the abyss. Edit: also absolutely kills reflections in my window-rich viewing room. Magic

[AMA] I’m Tim, a national product trainer at Samsung! I’m here to talk about our TV lineup and what you should know about our latest & greatest tech.
Hey there! That's a tough one to answer without knowing more about your space and viewing distance, but I'll gladly share my thoughts! Let's first talk high end options for movies and TV. I can't recommend the S95F enough! Seriously... it gives you those OLED black levels and control you want for mo

S95H matte (top) vs S90F glossy (bottom)
The S95F for sure. The matte screen affects them both similarly but the S95F actually has an updated version of the glare free screen(2.0) while the QN90F incorporated Samsung's first generation of the tech onto that panel so it won't be as effective at dispersing ambient light. Also, the S95F is an

Apple Studio Display XDR - Is it really worth it?
I'm looking at it from the perspective of someone working in IT. I think for most people, a MacBook is the best tool for the job, and Apple's MiniLEDs are the best displays for MacBooks. I've seen no other IPS that's come close. Of course, if you work on a Windows, or do specific photo editting, a D

LG UltraGear GM9 miniLED terrible backlight bleed
That's nice, glad it's worked out for you. Those are my use cases too. I'm a brightness freak though, and OLED monitors can't satisfy me just yet. Because of that brightness, I burn in OLEDs quite fast and I wouldn't risk it with PC productivity. And the text fringing just makes it feel so much wors
