It honestly feels like Samsung keeps releasing the same soundbar system with some slight upgrades instead of trying to innovate. Why can't we have the option for more speakers and/or more subs? I'm pretty sure people would pay money for that. As a Q990D owner, I still don't see any reason to upgrade

I sent my 4yo duct taped back to Samsung with the Q990D when it bricked. They repaired it and sent back only the bar. Problem solved.

well if you compare Sonos Arc Ultra alone vs the complete Q990D then the samsung is Better.

I can say the same. Currently own Arc Ultra + Sub 4 + Era 300s. Previously owned Q990D and Q990B. The Samsung is amazing value at its price, but the Sonos set just sounds cleaner and gets to high volumes without straining. It doesn’t ever feel harsh or overworked. I would say for its money - Sonos i

The Q990D is a better deal on the Samsung EPP than Sonos and just as powerful getting an 11.1.4 Atmos system less than the Ultra alone.

I actually have both of these in my bedroom. I have the arc ultra, 2 sub gen 4, and 2 era 300s for my PC/movie setup. And I have the q990d with my bedroom tv. For the value, the q990d destroys it. For the best sound yes the Sonos beats it in my configuration, but it also cost like 4 times as much or

Yes. By a good margin. .... That said.... I recently traded out my speakers/amp setup and the while the sound is not as good, the ease of use has been more than worth the trade. The soundbar sounds pretty darn good in its own right and more than does the trick for watching movies/TV or playing video

You’re gonna hear a lot about the Samsung Q990D/F. I took the bait, got a 990D and absolutely love it. It’s 11.1.4 (7.1.4 on standard mode I believe) with real wireless rear speakers and wireless sub. While a sound bar is never going to be a true 5.1 set up it’s renewed my love of watching movies ag

I’ve had Sony, lg, and Vizio and recently got a q990d and it blows my other soundbars out of the water. There are definitely better surround sound options out there. But as far as soundbars go it seems it’s either Sonos or Samsung that most people champion. And most reviewers agree.
