From apple ultra to galaxy ultra

Wear it higher on the wrist, it will help with accuracy and consistency. Also, it seems to adapt to your sleep and measure it better over time. Also, keep in mind that it takes continuous pulseox readings at night vs only once in a while for Apple. The accuracy is about the same, Apple just records

Switching to Galaxy from Apple, how does the Galaxy Watch Compare?

I switched from AW Series 9 to Galaxy Watch Ultra and my experience is similar to yours. HR wise, it is slower to react to dips, but catches up with peaks fairly quickly, on par with my AW S9.Sleep tracking is OK, I find it more accurate on my right wrist. SpO2 is all over the place, but I think the

Crappy update to One UI 8.

You're not alone. A lot of fanboys out here simping for these pieces of mung. I tried pointing out how compared to the Apple Watch Ultra 2 which I switched from to the GWU and was told I don't know what I'm doing. It's all my fault. It's all user error. So it's my fault the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultr

Strava showing lower distances after One UI 8 Watch update on Galaxy Watch Ultra

Thanks, I tried it earlier this week with no luck in the distance difference problem. Now I gave it another shot and it worked. The first time I tried it was my fault, I did not realize the default setting is to use the Samsung Health distance when uploading to strava and marked the checkbox (which

Can you use an app other than Samsung Health for data?

I found Sleep for Android. Pulls all the dat from my GWU just fine. No gaps doesn't stop and reset the sleepmperiod just bc of a quick bio-break Its a bit had to decifer at 1st especially if you're trying to decide to purchase or not. Proof its the Samsung app though not the watchnor sensors.

Heart Rate Monitor.

Worst part is that Samsung is well aware of it. An employee at a Samsung store told me to wait for the next version of the watch. WTF! So what do I do with my current GWU? Glad I kept my 5 year old Garmin. During cardio the GWU is inaccurate by about 15%, and that’s if I get an actual HR reading. We

It's live! Received the Samsung Health Monitor app update via the Samsung App Store last night and just got the SHM app update for my Watch Ultra this morning. Calibrated and syncing perfectly. Finally! GWU (first gen) on Visible Wireless. Tampa, FL

Smart ring recommendations to compliment ape watch ultra. Oura ring vs ultrahuman or ring conn

I recently bought a Ringconn Gen 1 (for £54.00 off eBay - bargain) for the same reason. I wanted to still have my steps etc tracked for when I'm not wearing my GWU (during charging for example) and for sleeping. The latter because there's been a few times I've forgot to put on my watch due to unexpe

Have you ever switched from Android to iPhone or the other way around? What made you switch?

I switched from Samsung to Apple mainly because of Apple Watch Ultra, and iPhone 17. I’m happy with my switch. AWU is just plainly a better device than Galaxy Watch Ultra across the board. Love the flexibility, the integration, how precise it is, and the aesthetics. It’s also masterfully optimized -

Why there are huge gaps in sleep tracking

I've had this same problem every night for the 1 month I've owned the GWU Tried ever piece of advice I can find to no avail. Like others sleep was the big reason I purchased this watch. How disappointing. Sent error reports and logs to Samsung- no help - basically get the old "oh really, huh, weird"
