Good Deal?
Yes the galaxy watch has quick access to Samsung health available in oneui to measure body composition check the exercise intensity stress levels and the gw8 has antioxidant index. For me the most important are the sleep coaching and the exercise tracker ππ₯

Talk to me about battery life!
Im also a 12-hour healthcare worker, switched over to Zflip 7 from my iPhone 15 Pro. I love the flip, it fits in my scrubs pockets so much better vs iPhone always trying to shimmy its way out every time I lean over or crouch down. After the initial setup, battery life is great, lasts me all day, eas

how good is the galaxy watch coming from an apple watch long time user?
I like my gw 8. Tried the Ultra but it's too heavy. To be fair gw8 have superior measuring of all you can measure including ages index, blood pressure, antioxidants etc This is better than AW. And it lasts longer (battery is fine) BUT it has many limitations inside the ecosystem, say, I cannot view

Sleep Tracking. Am I doing something wrong, or is this feature an actual joke?
I can tell you the GW8 sleep functions DO NOT WORK. Rest assured it's not you or wrist fitment/ tightness. It doesn't work. It's the software NOT the sensors for me. Download sleep for Android and you'll see the watch work all night. No gaps nada problem. I've reported this many times to Samsung til

Question and advice
I've had a Samsung watch from every generation starting from the gear S3. I really liked the more classic look. The 7 series was the first time I got something below the top of the line because the Ultra was just so ugly. I was so excited to get the 8 classic until I saw it. I know people say it loo

Upgrading the 4. To what?
The Galaxy Watch 6 should be more than fine for you. I use my Galaxy Watch 6 Classic for simple sports tracking like jogging twice a week or basic home workouts, lots of AI stuff with Gemini, WhatsApp, Spotify, mobile payments, the heatlh functions, translations, or navigation with Google Maps⦠and

how good is the galaxy watch coming from an apple watch long time user?
Long time Samsung user, I currently have the S25 Ultra phone and the GW8 classic, round face. I like them both, on a side note, I was recently at my Dr office when they checked my heart rate, my watch showed within 2 beats of the Dr's equipment, take that for whatever it's worth.

Watch 7 or Watch 8?
I would say go for GW8 as it is never and has many more health related features than 7 and personally I feel it is better looking also. I am using GW7 for almost 1.5 years now and its fine but as samsung is planning to launch the GW9 and also there will be a huge update for samsung health so I belie

Am I the only one who doesnβt regret my Fitbit air?
No regrets whatsoever here. It does the job as well, and in some cases better than other devices. I have a Garmin Forerunner 965, a Pixel Watch 3, a Galaxy Watch 8 Classic and an Amazfit Helio Strap. The Garmin is good, but the sleep tracking is next to useless, everything else is "competent". I lik
