Absolutely do not understand the “hate” for the Samsung S90D - got mine delivered today and just finished hanging it…I feel like I’ve never watched TV or a movie before
The main reason they hate it is no Dolby Vision support (cause Samsung swears by HDR10+) Keep in mind that's an enthusiast subreddit, you could be like "Wow S90D is 1/3 the price of any equivalent and I can't afford any more" and they'd still tell you not to buy it lol. "You should invest more in a

PS5 Pro discussion--What are your thoughts on the console vs the base PS5?
My personal opinion is that it is 100 percent worth it if you have the right setup for it. I have mine hooked up to a 77-inch Samsung S90D and a surround sound system, and I've been having a blast replaying everything I had on the base 5 and seeing how much better everything plays. I'm an FPS snob,

Any reason I shouldn't get a TCL? 85" QLED Mini LED is like $2k less than Samsung
Mini LED is just marketing terms. It's still an LCD TV. I think what I value is picture quality, Well you're looking at the wrong TV's if that's the case. That QM6K is not a good TV, just all sorts of bad. Has zero redeeming qualities about it if you care about PQ. If I'm reading this right, you're

Samsung confirms its $1,800+ fridges will start showing you ads
I love my s90d. But with the way Samsung is going, it'll be my last TV i buy from the company.

Samsung really that bad?
I would get a Samsung today if I got a $400 discount off one of their TVs. I would be sprinting towards their OLEDs and grabbing me the S90D.

Thinking about getting an LG - 65" Class C5 Series OLED evo AI 4K UHD for the Pro.
Me too, I chose 65" Samsung S90D over LG C4 when I was calculating which TV to buy. QD-OLED (and brighter gaming mode) won me over and now that LG has been forcing that dreadful Microsoft Copilot on it's TV's, I'm even happier I went with Samsung.

Stuck between these TVs (will be buying 65’)
I had to make the same decision and went for the S90D in 65" because of the QD-OLED panel. More color brightness and the unconventional panel convinced me. I'm fine with the Samsung OS, it has a lot of options to fine tune and all the apps that i use (Prime, Netflix, Youtube) work fast and smooth. I

Koji tv od 65” uzeti?
Ovo nije tacno.
