As a 25 year cs player i prfer analog audio with studio monitoring headphones. Gamer audio is a ripofff 75+%of the time. I returned my crossair rgb headset that cost like 3x to get samson sr850's. They sound so much better it took me over 6 months to stop turning around thinking sound was behind me.

Entirely depends on what you mean by "good headset" if you mean gamer branded stuff (Razer, Logitech, HyperX, etc.) then yeah, you can probably get some chi-fi IEMs that will sound better.
