What people are saying

It's not much, but it's damn better than writing on my laptop

The keyboard's an RK61 Royal Kludge, and the tablet's an old Galaxy Tab A9+. Overall a pretty budget setup, though I am planning to get a BOOX Palma 2 soon which I think will feel better. Oh, and a wooden phone stand from IKEA. Arguably the classiest part.

Why does every keyboard I buy break after a few months? (Need serious

The obvious part is your buying cheap products....From this subreddit I've always heard RK Royal keyboards(currently on amazon right now the RK61 is $39.99) are trash. I know Redragon(Redragon Fizz K617 currently on amazon for $29.99) is trash from experience and never bought another one. Googled Zi...

Is there anything I should change?

A build for $1k should be using the RX 9060 XT 16GB if you can swing it. Also you are buying DDR4 RAM and you need DDR5, preferably 6000mhz ram for Ryzen. Just a heads up as well, that RK61 keyboard is pretty bad. I owned it for about a year and started having issues with it turning off and back on ...

I have achieved the THOCK

Havent tried the ak820 but I think it really depends on what you're going after. Things you may want to consider are: size of the keyboard, sound profile, and the feel of it. As for brands, I've tried Royal Kludge (rk71, rk61, rks98), Aula F75, E-yooso low profile, GMK67, and Keychron k12, all of wh...

What do you think of this keyboard?

This one is easy so far, if their web app is hosted at QMK.something it's the scam. If you see "usevia.app" or "vial.rocks" it's at least emulating QMK. Emulating? Yes, there are proprietary boards that are "VIA compatible" or "QMK compatible" that have ported the VIA module to run on top of an emul...

Should I keep a hotswappable keyboard if the sockets are very tight?

Those are Outemu-style sockets, very old-school and evil like something that's really evil. Not only are they literally too tight for most modern switches, I got a couple where they had obviously been sitting in an un-airconditioned warehouse somewhere for years before I got them... and the sockets ...

How do i use arrow keys on ducky one 3 mini without holding FN

That looks like a pretty generic 60% board, and for $99 on Amazon US rather overpriced - that's more than a Keychron Q4! I would return it and get a QMK based 60% board that supports mod-tap arrows instead. Then you can tap the keys to use them as arrows, or hold them to use them as modifiers (contr...
