Anyone using smart glasses for Japanese to English live translation in daily life here?

I'm using the Rokid AI glasses (with display) and they are extremely useful for reading Japanese signs or translating train station announcements.

[DIY Project] I hacked my Rokid Glasses to use Google Gemini Vision (Real-time AI Assistant) - Open Source Code Included! 🤖

Hey r/rokid! 👋 I’ve been a user of Rokid glasses for a while, and while I love them, I always felt they were somewhat limited by just being a "portable monitor." I wanted a true AR assistant—something that sees what I see and can answer questions about the real world. Since an official solution isn'

My Review of Rokid Glasses

I have mine now for about one month. I wear them daily. I like that you can nod or shake to pickup calls. Also I am sure that Rokid will improve the software over time. And do not forget that they released SDKs for development of either on glasses apps as well as apps running on your phone connected

Which smart glasses have the best teleprompter?

I just ordered a pair of Rokid Glasses (ai & ar display) for the exact same purpose. I've done a lot of research and it seems like this should fit the bill perfectly. They should be here in a couple weeks I'll let you know how they work!

best smart glasses 2026 what's actually worth it?

I have the Rokid AI smart glasses. They are absolutely wonderful and do have screens in both glasses. The screen is monochrome green and is not intrusive in my daily use. It can navigate with on screen map, it can answer questions and uses head gestures (shaking or nodding) to pick up calls. It can

Finally decided to jump into the bandwagon -- Which product to buy?

Depends a lot on what you want, and who you want to support. I wanted an information screen, camera, AI and music primarily and have backed Rokid on Kickstarter. Rokid are established with several smartglasses already. The new Inmo are looking good, but pricey. Great screen for on the move working a

Rokid Glasses vs Even G1

If you want an AI assistant that can remember things for you, just by looking at it with it's onboard camera, or use the camera to give you a better description of something, then the Rokid would be a better choice. Westerners who have got theirs seem to have little idea of the enhanced capabilities

My Review of Rokid Glasses

Try switching the nose pads… play with adjusting them so you can clearly see the bottom of the display. I bet you can get them to work it’s just an alignment thing. Finally, you can get a developer cable and make your own on-device apps or apps for the phone that connect to the glasses and take adva

Should i cancel my order?

I personally love my Rokid. I just returned from an international trip to Paris. The navigation worked great. The translation was ok as long as I had a good connection. Ai was not an issue and helped with several scenarios concerning art and ancient structures. Phone calls by voice command worked we

Anyone using the AI Glasses Style?

Me. I use them daily. As a matter of fact I switched over to rokid style because its lightweight compared to meta displays. Plus I dont need stuff in my peripheral vision unless im using translation which I don't use because Ive yet to leave the country. The ai is smarter in all ways clear straight
