KDE VR Mode and ordinary stuff you can do with it
The cheapest solution is AR glasses like Rokid Max or Xreal Air. I think Quest 2 could be an option if you want more FOV (but I wouldn't recommend it, due to low pixel density and need to check if WiVRn still supports it)

For those with a handheld without an OLED screen
I've been saying for a while that the dual USB4 ports that let you charge while using AR glasses is a totally slept on aspect of the Go. Peak lazy gaming experience is lying in bed with AR glasses on and a controller in each hand by my side. And there are lots of surprisingly good deals on basic AR

Anyone using smart glasses for Japanese to English live translation in daily life here?
I'm using the Rokid AI glasses (with display) and they are extremely useful for reading Japanese signs or translating train station announcements.

I bought a Meta Quest 3 mainly for watching TV and Xbox… should I switch to AR glasses?
I have Xreal and Rokid glasses, and quest 2 and 3 headsets. I basically only watch YouTube on my Quest 3 these days. It's great for that. I haven't touched my AR glasses in more than a year. When watching a movie through my phone on them, it still feels like the screen is too small

New to smart glasses, can you recommend a brand?
The current generation are all about compromise, you need to work out what's important to you first. If you want a display then that limits options, Meta Display is 'better' in that it's a colour display but at the cost of battery and a monocular display. Meta's audio is generally considered very go

Anyone else enjoy watching movies on your headset?
If I had an AVP - because that's the only high res OLED panel w HDR/Dolby Vision support. I have giant OLED and projector screen in my house otherwise. If I traveled more, I'd probably get an AVP, but for now my Rokid Max glasses have microOLEDs (no HDR though). I'm not viewing movies on non-OLED di

[DIY Project] I hacked my Rokid Glasses to use Google Gemini Vision (Real-time AI Assistant) - Open Source Code Included! 🤖
Hey r/rokid! 👋 I’ve been a user of Rokid glasses for a while, and while I love them, I always felt they were somewhat limited by just being a "portable monitor." I wanted a true AR assistant—something that sees what I see and can answer questions about the real world. Since an official solution isn'

My Review of Rokid Glasses
I have mine now for about one month. I wear them daily. I like that you can nod or shake to pickup calls. Also I am sure that Rokid will improve the software over time. And do not forget that they released SDKs for development of either on glasses apps as well as apps running on your phone connected

Which smart glasses have the best teleprompter?
I just ordered a pair of Rokid Glasses (ai & ar display) for the exact same purpose. I've done a lot of research and it seems like this should fit the bill perfectly. They should be here in a couple weeks I'll let you know how they work!

best smart glasses 2026 what's actually worth it?
I have the Rokid AI smart glasses. They are absolutely wonderful and do have screens in both glasses. The screen is monochrome green and is not intrusive in my daily use. It can navigate with on screen map, it can answer questions and uses head gestures (shaking or nodding) to pick up calls. It can
