My condolences. I gave Dreame a second chance with another Matrix 10 Ultra - the same idiotic behaviour. I now have a roborock Saros 20 and its night and day in terms of intelligence (i think their customer service is as bad though). Return it, move on to someone else.

Ran both in my own home: Saros 20 missed 10% fewer obstacles than the X60. Roborock's torque wheels handle cables better if you're lazy like me.

Thanks for that explanation Jamie. I was assuming Vac then Mop operations. I've amended my post to reflect that. Did Roborock state why they felt it was important to cover that section where the roller does not coincide with the suction head with a brush and not their Saros 20? I assume the Saros 20
