I agree... There aren't going to be many people out there with experience with more than one or two devices. My Roborock S8 MaxV and my Curv have both served me well. The only advice I can offer with certainty is to avoid iRobot. I used to be a huge fanboy, but the company has really gone downhill.

I just bought a Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. $1500 down from $3000 at JBHifi. Pretty good so far and happy with the choice.

Our Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra can remember where the carpeted areas are, do those first, then mop everything else. That way it's not dragging a wet mop across the carpet. And it's dried out by the next time it needs to run.
