Roborock is bricking older models with software updates
I thought I was going crazy with my roborock s5 max but I'm having very similar issues. It now takes 3 hours to do a larger area that used to take 45 minutes.

Robot cleans but then can't find its way back to base and runs out of battery. Map is skewed
it rarely happens to mine as well. mine is giving up right next to base. i manually put it to base. until it happens next time. roborock s5 max.

Suddenly started happening to me also with both my roborock robots... Robot tried many times to dock...and fails ... Docks are in clear space... I have 2 robots in 2 different houses... S5 max since 5 years... and qrevo curv since 2 years... and both started having problems last weeks... @roborock s

Not cleaning more than a corner
The no name model you have probably has a fault found often in the no name roborock. You can try running the built in test mode to determine if one of the cliff sensors in this robot of no age has failed. I've seen a sensor failure cause the robot to turn in place, but not clean. Roborock Q10 S5+ Amazing
I’m having the opposite experience. It’s dumber than my old S5 Max and now is stuck at the dock “mapping” everyday. I’ve only owned it for 3 weeks. Roborock support is asking me for a ton of photos and logs when I asked them for help.
