Anyone found a reliable way of keeping Roborock off the internet?
Good Roborock mopping robots are not supported by Valetudo. You got that already.Check out Dreame support by Valetudo, the situation there is currently better also for newer models. If you just want to go with a camera-less and deaf Roborock, you could downgrade to Qrevo Edge/Curv S5X/S5A variants.

Is the dreame x50 complete garbage?
I had the same experience with my first robo vac, well reviewed, did my research. It was the roborock qrevo curv, it was bad, it was slow, hesistant, constanly made up rooms. Tried remapping 8+ times, factory reset, clean sensors, then after a week it wouldnt dock straight or move out of the dock. R

Robot cleans but then can't find its way back to base and runs out of battery. Map is skewed
Suddenly started happening to me also with both my roborock robots... Robot tried many times to dock...and fails ... Docks are in clear space... I have 2 robots in 2 different houses... Weird behaviour Dreame X50
I just returned my new X50 after 2 weeks and ordered Roborock Curv. Dreame is a scam. Same problem with navigation. Hesitations, random moves, left unclean patches, areas where it could easily get too - ignored. It took 60 minutes to clean the same apartment, where my old Q Revo took 30 minutes, and
