Reliability and support - old Roborock vs newer Dreame
Watch out with the Q7 Max+. Although listed as supported by Valetudo, any new robots since since Q2 2024 are not rootable due to changes in the brand of the NAND. You are happy with a S8 Ultra. The topic here is about Q7 M5+. This is an entry-level, rebranded non-genuine Roborock model with completely different software and protocol. It is worse with less features than its predecessor Q7 Max+. It is just cheap.
