IsItBullshit: are robot vacuums actually good and worth the money?

I've been using a robot vacuum for about 7 years now. I only vacuum once every 3 or 4 months in spots the vacuum can't reach, which is only a handful of very small spots. Doesn't take me more than 5 minutes total (~1000sq ft home). Overall, I HIGHLY recommend it. Most modern ones can vacuum hard flo

Robot vacuum VS dog hair… battle to the death 💀

I absolutely love my Roborock Q5 (~4-5 years old now) and it has been a champ to keep up with two kitties and the insane amount of litter that gets tracked through our apartment. I think I paid around $300 or so originally. Ours just has a vacuum function, but quite a few other models also can mop w

Robot vacuum suggestions

We got a Roborock q5 max+ and it’s the 3rd robot vacuum we’ve had and the best so far. It’s not perfect but the mapping outshines Shark’s software. There are 2 silicone rollers that roll towards themselves into the dustbin. The rollers do end up with hair wrapped around the ends which requires manua

Help! Which do I chose?

Roborock and their LiDAR/mapping is awesome. I don’t have a mop version, just a q5+, but absolutely love that thing. First time I actually felt a robovaccum was worth it.

Can anyone recommend a good Roomba mop/vacuum?

For an apartment with a dog and rugs, you'll want one with decent mapping and obstacle avoidance so it doesn't get stuck constantly. try the Roborock -Q5 Pro, most users highly praised it for its precise navigation and room mapping and exceptional pet hair vacuuming FWIW my mate and I recently did a

Robovac selection

for hard floors only with no mopping, the roborock q5 max+ is a strong fit. it has good suction, reliable lidar navigation, and the auto empty dock keeps maintenance low. it focuses on vacuuming performance rather than extra features, which sounds like what you want. fwiw my mate and i looked at a l

Roborock or Dreame?

We are very happy with our Roborock Q5 Pro. App is also easy to use and once you have set up the map of your home, its just a click or 2 to get cleaning. Only issue was the water outlets for the mop getting blocked, but the tap water here is very hard, lots of calc, so its to be expected and we will

Is Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra worth the $$$?

Adding to this. I have a Robock Q5 Max+ and I'm very happy with the Roborock brand in general. The navigation, build quality, and so many other things. I also have 2 levels and 1 dock. I carry it to the level without the dock, tell it what to clean, and once it's done, it DOES look for the dock, not

Best model for pet hair on hard floors - no money limit.

We have a Roborock Q5 Max+ in a carpeted household with three dogs (two are GSDs). I rarely have issues except when the bag starts getting full. Map out your floors carefully with what ever model you get and split the rooms if you need to. Set the vacuum to self-empty frequently. That's the only way

Best robot vacuum?

I LOVE my Roborock Q5 Pro+. It is fantastic at mapping, great suction, and auto-empties. I have two large dogs and it handles their fur wonderfully. Additionally, you can customize quite a bit about routing/suction, as well as schedules. It can even handle multiple maps if you have stairs.
