I would avoid Royal Kludge's legacy boards if you have an alternative, their software is not very good. Logitech, at least half the cost is the Logitech name. Need more info on the Keychron boards. The proprietary RK driver used by the S98 is significantly more restricted than VIA. I would always go with the QMK model. You could also see if you have the Redragon K715, Royal Kludge RK R87, or iLoveBee B87 available to you.
