Best-selling keyboard switches of October 2025

I have tested the Rosewoods on two of my personal boards - a stock RK68 PRO which is an all aluminum 65%, plate mounted board and my trusty Xinmeng M87, which is a gasket mount board made of all plastic. I tested the Rosewoods on both and with the same Cherry profile PBT caps from Womier. On the RK6

Yet another Royal Kludge victim

I was using an RK68 for 3 years up to just a week ago, it did have issues like not being able to connect via bluetooth and forgetting the custom profile rgb and macros but it only happened like once or twice and considering I got it for roughly $30 at the time, I think it was pretty good. I even got

is royal kludge good?

The older ones that say RK then the rough amount of keys like RK68, RK84 are ok ish but they've got this design on the pcb that kills the entire row if an LED on that row goes bad. The newer ones are actually half decent as a prebuilt and while I still wouldn't recommend them (as a hobbyist) they're

Ce tastaturi sub 300 de lei, TKL sau 75% imi recomandati? Mecanica daca se poate.

Royal Kludge au mai multe modele 75% și TKL. Eu am un Rk68 de la ei. Indestructibila tastatura.

My Daily drive

I have the Akko Matcha Green on my RK68 and absolutely love them. Love those caps!! I'll have to look into their boards.

Royal Kludge - Safety PSA

Unless there are multiple reports of this type of failure I don't think it is anything to be concerned by. A silicon failure like that is almost always related to a power source issue, not poor construction. I've certainly seen products with poor battery management, leading to spicy pillows in a lar

Looking for keyb like this huntsman mini linear but 65%

i feel you on needing those arrow keys. the floating key look is pretty common on a lot of boards these days. you might like the Royal Kludge RK68, it has that same low profile look and comes in white. it's a solid 65% that's easy to move around and won't break the bank.

Keyboard recommendations

ngl water spills are the worst. for a similar gasket feel without the higround tax, check out the LTC NB681 - it's a 65% with silicone gaskets and hot-swap, usually around $70-80. the Keychron K6 Pro is another solid option, bit more expensive but great build quality. if you want cheaper, the Royal

/r/MechanicalKeyboards Ask ANY Keyboard question, get an answer - October 26, 2025

That's one of the great parts of the hobby. If you mean the Royal Kludge RK68, yeah, grab some different switches and some painter's tape and get in there! Or, you can do both. The Kisnt KN85 is a fantastic budget keyboard that showcases how different things can feel from one keyboard to the next.
