Feeling Scammed After Buying RingConn Gen 2 — Thanks to ShortCircuit

So, I wanted to share my experience in case it helps someone else avoid the same mistake.

A few months back, I watched the ShortCircuit video on the RingConn Gen 2 smart ring. I knew it was a paid promotion and not a full LTT-style review, but still there’s a certain level of trust I have with that

Ultrahuman Air vs RingConn Gen 3 I really wanted to love and keep the RingConn Gen 3 because its design is absolutely beautiful. But after wearing both rings together every day, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to ignore the differences in the data.

My RingConn Gen 2 is right in line with what my Apple Watch tracks for steps. I’m echoing others, you should change which fingers you’re wearing it on. But also, step accuracy with a ring isn’t always going to be the most accurate. The most accurate readings I ever got was wearing my watch on my ank

Ring vs watch for workout tracking

I don't think RingConn is really for tracking workouts. I used it for a year to track my sleep and steps, and it was accurate for that, but it never showed my heart rate above 120 bpm. As soon as it hit 120, it just stayed there, so I could never get accurate calorie burn during my workouts. Oura is

OpenCircuit - Release 30. Cool new features and updates

Been using Open Circuit for about 24 hours now and ran into a pretty frustrating bug with sleep tracking.I slept from 2:00 AM to 9:30 AM last night. Open Circuit logged it as 8:32 PM – 5:49 AM — nowhere close to accurate. For comparison, my HUAWEI GT2 Pro tracked the correct sleep window, so I know

Using a smart ring for sleep and a watch for workouts?

I have a RingConn 2 and a Galaxy smartwatch. I bought the RingConn 2 specifically to track my sleep patterns. Compared to my Galaxy's sleeptracking, the RingConn consistently rates a typical night's sleep higher in both deep sleep, REM sleep and overall sleep quality. At the same time, the RingConn

Where is RingConn from?

GENERAL EXPERIENTIAL COMMENTARY ON THE RINGCONN PRODUCT. RingConn is definitely made in Shenzen in China and marketed through their HK office. • I have had one of the first – when originally sold through Kickstarter and in those Gen 1 early days I did indeed need to contact RingConn – as the battery

New Beta BP Measuring Opinion

I have the Gen 2 with the beta firmware. I get readings across a fairly large range, and I get similar with my BP Cuff too. I have been taking my BP daily for a few years, and it was easy to do the calibration. Now when I go back and look at my readings it has taken, I am more confused by the rating

Calories Way Off

I know I’m late on this post but I’m experiencing the same. These responses are annoying and deliberately obtuse lol. I switched from the Apple Watch to RingConn gen 2 and the calorie estimates are almost double what my watch would have estimated. Did you ever find if it evened out more, OP?

Ringconn, Oura? Stuck on choosing which is best for me.

2 months into my RingConn gen2 air. So far it's very meh. I miss the Oura app and my old Oura was much more reliable in data. The cons were that it was a complete piece of crap that had to be replaced 3 times. So, my vote is to find a third option

OpenCircuit - Release 30. Cool new features and updates

My gen 2 ring has been dying for a while (worn battery) but I like that this app gives me a more realistic estimate to dead. The RingConn app will claim like 9d until dead while your app will tell me it’ll die in like 7 hrs. So much nicer having something more realistic. Sadly when it finally dies a
