Oura ring 4 vs ringconn gen 2

That was one of the biggest factors in deciding to get a RingConn. On another note(because several other people mentioned it), I’m not sure what Oura’s sleep info looks like but I’m perfectly happy with the RingConn graph that breaks down light, deep and REM. I think it’s very detailed. I can see ex

Should I wait?

I thought about this too but decided to go for the Gen2 now. You never want a product right at release (at least I don’t) because of all the bugs they still have to patch. I think the earliest I would be getting it would be in like 7 months; and RingConn has trade in options

Buyers Beware | Ultrahuman Ring Air

My story is similar… I gave what’s left of my faulty ring and uhx to a smart ring curious coworker. I’m a week into switching to RingConn Gen2air. So far so good.

Limited to choosing between Samsung & Ultrahuman. Which is the lesser of the two evils?

We have 4 UH rings in the family, only had an issue with one regarding battery drain. I also have had oura and RingConn gen 2. I like the UH app the best. Especially since they recently updated it. Gives a lot of useful info. I don’t think any of them are super accurate but just to be used as a base

Am I the only one that hasn't had issues with Ultrahuman?

We have 4 in the family, actually 5 if you count my brother in law. No real issues to speak of. My wife’s battery dies super fast after 2 years but that’s really been the only thing. I really like the app compared to the RingConn gen 2 I had.

World Sleep Day — Let’s Talk About Sleep

I find it very useful to know how much I slept, but there are important features missing which I hope RingConn will add in future: Sleep Dept. Yes, there is such a thing. It should be recorded not just one poor night sleep, but let's say you sleep 3 consecutive nights with 2 hours less than your req

Is the OURA ring the ONLY true one?

I’ve bought all 3 and settled with RingConn gen 2 because price was less, no subscription, and battery life. I think if anything Oura’s app might seem more polished but RingConn’s app is very detailed and the ring itself has the same functionality. I’ve had my ring for a year now. I haven’t had a si

Unfortunately, can not recommend RingConn 2

I have had my ringconn gen 2 for almost a year (bought in April 2025). I haven't had a single problem with my ring.I think the only people who have problems come to this subreddit to complain/tell others about their ring's problem. So although you're seeing "chatter" about it, don't believe it's a m

Are we there yet?

My step count/calories burned is very elevated on my ring. Typically 5,000+ steps higher than my phone or watch track. The fitness tracking is a lot more accurate with Strava/fitness watches, but the flip side is that the sleep tracking seems more detailed with the smart rings. I also hate sleeping

RIP TicWatch?

Update bc I saw this post while digging again. Ticnote watch looks like it's gonna be non-WearOS with no secondary screen and heavily focused on the AI note taking likely with a subscription model. That aside the new pebbles pre-production seems to have added SP0² to their patent and likely already
