Looking for specific red lips

It's going to be hard to find an exact dupe because the 90s dark (vampiric) reds were trying to dupe the OG Chanel Vamp which was a "black red." The reason a lot of the modern dupes don't look right is because they are trying to use burgundy as a base instead of that "black red" ... which is underst

I cannot for the life of me pull off pink blush or lipstick

red and green are opposite on the colour wheel. as a result of this pink (red+white) contrasts with olive skin in a way that is often unflattering. it either makes the green in an olive skin tone more obvious or the pink just sits on the face looking unnatural because there's no tones in an olive sk

Kibbe's recommendations and my seasonal colour chart don't match! FG+SS

Have you tried Revlon Cherries in the Snow? It is the OG cool red.

Affordable lipstick, lip liner and blush

Reds (that should be cool tone friendly) - Wet n Wild Stoplight Red, Maybelline Color Sensational Ruby for Me, L'Oréal Color Riche - Red Passion... Revlon Cherries in the Snow is really more pink than red to me, but lovely on cool-tones.

How did you find your perfect shade in lipstick

There’s warm/cool colors and then how saturated it is. Perfect might be overselling it. I have neutral undertones for makeup. I look best in cool toned clothing, so I use cool toned colors in makeup (lipstick, blush, etc). But sometimes it would still look “off,” muted/frosted, brown, and nude lipst

Great blu-red Long lasting lipstick and indie brand recs

I really like Mac center of attention and Revlon cherries in the snow. I’m super fair with pink undertones and most reds pull orange or brown on me, but not those two.

Which effect could you tolerate on lipsticks/lip colors?

As a Cool Winter, a ‘natural looking’ lipstick is one of life’s biggest challenges. I have plenty of flattering options for a lip, but they’re not the no-makeup look. It doesn’t matter how flattering red lipstick is, no one’s lips are that color. My go-to colors from Winter: blue-based red (classic

What do you think about red lipstick in everyday life?

I tend to wear red in winter. My preference is bluer reds like Revlon Cherries in the Snow. Normally Peony by Glossier or spf lip balm are my go to's. I will forever and always miss N9 by MUF.
