10-camera setup - Is this camera Frigate-friendly? [Budget <€150/unit]
Dahua does work well with Frigate. I have bought my Hikvision ColorVu cameras on Aliexpress. I bought a Reolink (RLC-811A) because they were always recommended and it easily has the worst low-light performance of all of my cameras (well, it did until it died after getting water in it from weather).

Is my rat bait mix actually warding them away, or am I doing something else wrong?
I've been waging a war against them for 12 years. They are much smarter than you think. They are the ultimate survivors. My advice is to invest in some inexpensive tech. Cover your baited kill zone with a smart IP camera and be prepared to go into action at any time, day or night, when your phone ge

RLC-811A (IPC_560B158MP): some cameras stutter in Frigate
Same here on 811A. Reolink app is fine, RTSP via VLC is Fine, Frigate via go2rtc stutters and skips frames, sometimes black screen on live view

It's Time to Take Down your Smart Cameras -Benn Jordan
I think you should also check out Unifi's cameras too. I recently saw this video, Unifi's camera, of the dude "drifting" in the parking lot and the camera was able to pick up very clear audio and video of the whole event up until he slammed into the bollards in front of the camera. Comparing to my o

Any high quality window mount cameras?
You'll find it hard to get a good digital zoom on a wide-angle lens once you pass 100 feet. For that distance, you really need optical zoom, which usually only comes on bigger outdoor PoE cameras like a Reolink RLC-811A. If you're stuck with a window mount, maybe try the Panasonic HomeHawk windows c

Videonadzor nad gradnjo

Looking For Outdoor IP Camera
Hello everyone... just a quick update on this. I have recommended that my parents purchase the Reolink RLC-811A camera and the Reolink RLN8-410 NVR (without HD since they don't need recordings). This is POE to the NVR and then they will have a 24" monitor connected to the NVR. I have tested this in

I’m considering adding this. Thoughts/input?
I just bought reolink. RLC-811A. Off to a good start so far. No NVR ran it over poe link. 256gb as cards. Apps solid cameras clear. 2 more to install. Check them out. They're 4k with color night vision. Bullet style kind of big if that bothers you.
