Use a Reolink camera, there's several models you can use for this and I see that many people use them for the bird stuff in their subreddit. Just make sure it is PoE, it is just better. Technically you can also just run a Wi-Fi (this is non critical surveillance after all) but make sure it is plugge

IMO Reolink CX410W is the best Wi-Fi camera but it doesn't have IR night vision and can only be used in areas with proper lighting at night. So if it is pitch black at night where you are do not use this camera. It is better for short distances as well. For IR night vision that's Wi-Fi, the best is

RLC-810WA or Reolink Duo Floodlight Wi-Fi if you have poor lighting at night/it is pitch black. If you have good lighting at night then CX410W or Reolink Altas PT Ultra, this last if you want the battery backup.

Hi, Did you manage to find a working config for your RLC-810WA? I have the same model and really struggling. The error logs appear to suggest ffmpeg is crashing due to incomplete data being received, and the camera is currently connected via WiFi, but works mostly well in the Reolink App? I've run e

Fair enough. Maybe reolink E1 zoom, the 5 MP version has ONVIF/RTSP or RLC-810WA if you want higher resolution. Don't expect much from the performance at night, IR models from reolink do not perform that well at night (lots of ghosting compared to what you have) but they are excellent at day. The CX

$200 budget puts you at reolink, eufy, or tapo with an SD card. I'm assuming you can run power to them and not an Ethernet cable?
