Reolink, Ubiquiti, or Nest?
Don't know much about Ubiquiti nowadays. Had it years ago, then it crapped out so I moved on to Reolink I like reolink much better, especially since i can store the videos on my NAS. I know the website says it integrates with Google Assistant... but I don't use that either. It does have what you wan

Cooked meat mysteriously found in front yard
I concur with the comments cautioning about poison or embedded objects. My Reolink cameras and NVR record 24x7, sends me alerts, has built in sirens, floodlights and 2-way talk with no subscription. Not super cheap but less than your vet bill would be.

Garage hit twice with an angle grinder – need a serious anti-theft setup
That was mine too after having a couple things stolen, bikes included, at my old large apartment building. Also gotta love that management installed 'hidden' cameras in the storage area because, quote, 'we don't want tenants to think there's a theft problem.' At my current place I've had some...trou

Motion detector lights for a small space? Neighbor concerns.
Reolink flood cameras give you the ability to select the brightness of flood lights, from 0 to 100. If you can I'd recommend the PoE Duo Flood but if wiring is an issue you can go with the Solar/battery flood. Put an SD card in one of these and not only will have you a deterrent with the light, you'

Best outdoor security cam for parents
I'm a fan of the Reolink line. Almost any of the Duo Floodlight models will do what you want, and with an SD card onboard it'll record even if someone manages to mess with WiFi, so you can retrieve the recording later. I do recommend PoE and an NVR, though. The Elite is another option.

New Camera Setup
Yes, you can use with Frigate. I know the Doorbell would work for sure, because the Wi-Fi version of the doorbell is the go-to doorbell for people running Blue Iris/Frigate, etc, even amongst Reolink haters. But the the Elite Floodlight Wi-Fi I don't know, it is a new camera but looking at some redd

Id say either look into gwsecurity floodlight cameras (cheaper) or reolink flood light cams. Both of them dont require monthly subscriptions.

Looking for security camera + doorbell camera
I have two wired (POE) Reolink systems on two properties. Their wired doorbell is great, it can even record 24/7 onto the NVR if that's how you roll. During 24/7 recording it still gives notifications for motion and doorbell ringing. I found Reolink to be user-friendly and reliable, despite the conc

Look into Reolink Floodlight cams. They can record locally without monthly fees.

Security Camera System for Home
Honestly, if power outages are normal where you are, I’d make that the deciding factor more than the brand name. If you’re choosing between Eufy and Reolink and you’re not very techy, I can see why Eufy feels easier. But the big question is really: what keeps working when the power goes out? Because
