I just want an electronic notebook. Is Remarkable2 for me?

The rM2 is a very stable device with no major hardware issues. All the issues you read about are with the Pro series of devices. The software is limited for all models. But if all you're using this for is a single notebook, you will find the lack of features to be very beneficial. You're basically d

What’s so great about mods for the Remarkable 2?

TL;DR I like mods and here's which ones I use For me, it's been mostly about fixing those little UI issues that slow me down and cause me to lose focus when I'm in a writing flow. I have a bunch installed through reManager. Since I have no skills on the command line, reManager has to be considered t

A few things I need

The reMarkable 2 is grayscale. The Paper Pro and Paper Pro Move are color e-ink displays and can show colored pen tools just fine. You cannot insert a PDF into a notebook. You can add note pages to PDFs and directly annotate on the PDF pages as well. You can export this combined PDF + notes pages as

ReManager

I just started using reManager a couple of weeks ago. I love this set-up! I've connected it to one of my rM1s, one of my rM2s, and my Paper Pro. I'm not especially tech-savvy and since I work long hours at my own business, I don't really enjoy committing many hours to experimenting with tech. That s

Need opinions on why I should choose the reMarkable Paper Pro over the Supernote Manta

The color has been a huge improvement for me over my reMarkable 2. Documents are more engaging; my notes are better organized. The Paper Pro has a harder, more textured writing feel, whereas the Supernote is softer. Supernote can run Android apps, reMarkable can only run some custom apps and browse

Ideas I regularly send to reMarkable since... years maybe? Maybe we should spam the team? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

No need to spam them, they now have a confirmed dedicated employee part of the this forum (confirmed but he mods with remarkable). The individual reads all of the post and takes it back to remarkable as well have posted several messages in here. If I remember correctly he (or she) is going to host a

Remarkable Tablets just don't make sense.

It's a notebook replacement. If that's not for you, a Boox/Kindle Scribe device is a better fit. I use reMarkable 2 and pp, an older Boox device and have a Kobo and Kindle devices. I don't expect one device to do everything, so I use what best fits the need at the time. As for your handwriting, it w

Notes Feature

Are you aware that reMarkable added margin access to pdfs? Two-finger drag in any direction accesses about 2" of extra margin space for annotation. No need for bouncing between layers. But on the subject of layers, u/FRK299 's mod Floating-Toolbar does a really nice job at managing layers without ha

reMarkable 2/Paper Pro move or Supernote Nomad for math equations?

The reMarkable does have an "infinite scroll" for each page meaning it can be as long as you need it to be. Supernote constrains you to the size of the page, then you have to make a new page. That said... I am definitely heavily using my Supernote Manta and I am returning my reMarkable Paper Pro as

Very good experience

It makes me happy to see your post. I find that too many people are complaining about too many things here before they actually have spoken to the company. My experience with reMarkable is a very good one. I am an early adopter of the rM2, am now using the rMPP and rMPPmove and whenever there was a
