I can't remove switches from my keyboard, even when it is hot-swap..
If it's older stock it may have those awful round sockets and been sitting in a non-airconditioned warehouse in southern China for years before shipping out. The sockets and switches gently corrode until they are one with each other. I pulled a switch in half getting it out of a socket like that. I

Tambien v

Is new K552 is not hot swappable?
Edit: every time i say stem, it's the metal pins. It is hotswappable, but the socket is not cherrymx style, it's outemu which uses thinner stems. If you wanna install cherry style switches you need to trim the stems or desolder the sockets. Instead of having proper sockets it just has some really so

Easiest way to remove K559 switches
Redragon's older boards are REALLY bad about this, not only are they those horrible Outemu style sockets but they are old stock. I had a K552 that I just gave up on because it had obviously been marinating in humid air for years until the switches had become one with the PCB.

Redragon Sofware for Redragon K686-RGB-PRO too big, can't change keybinds.
Also funny how you say the Redragon software is an issue but you suggest another one in your list, so won't that also have issues if I want to change my keybinds? No, Redragon has released three open-source QMK-based boards, the K717, K715, and K742 that don't use Redragon firmware OR software. You

Pulling switches out of socket
The Redragon k552 has those horrible little round sockets, it's also a very old board and when you get one it may have been sitting in a non-air-conditioned warehouse in South China for most of a decade before it got on a ship for delivery. I had one and gave it away when I realized that it would ta
