For me learning curve wasn’t too bad. What I would suggest is remapping your keyboard to the hhkb layout as close as possible (with something like karabiner on Mac) and seeing if you actually LIKE the layout, if it’s not for you get a Realforce R3S, it is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than a new hhkb.
