You are right, you should not. Mine are working fine in both wireless and wired mode (but mic not always shows as default), I just checked. Seems like your drivers are corrupted. There is razer driver uninstall utility, it's for synapse 3, but it worked with my kraken v4 pro, you should try it.

I find a good set of headphones with a quality mic and decent battery life works best. For simracing right now, I use the Razer Kraken V4 pros as they have haptics and I wanted to pair that with the Razer Freyja. If I was just going for high quality headphones I would go with Audeze Maxwells which I
