Is this a good controller to play GG Strive?

So, your input device is all personal preference. Don't let anyone tell you that you NEED a certain type of device to get good at fighting games. I play on both a regular arcade stick as well as leverless, which also happens to be the Razer Kitsune. It should be perfectly fine for Guilty Gear Strive.

Curious question here

Took me about a week or two. Went from an Xbox controller to a Razer Kitsune. And yeah. That week SUCKED. I was slow. I was bad. There was this extra half-second of lag a lot of the time, because I'd think of what I wanted to do, and then it would take me that half-second to "translate" that into fi

I did it... at nearly 50, with no drive rush or super cancels

Ever considered leverless? Very helpful for charge characters! Loving mine for Chun Li (razer kitsune).

My first ever “Type of hitbox”exited to learn. For those who transitioned from pad to this, how long did it take you to learn it?

I just bought the non-graphic version of this and it's taking me a while to get used to coming from the PS5 controller. I do notice that the input is more accurate/consistent. I got it at a great deal. Razer Kitsune All-Button Arcade Controller - $139.99 - Free shipping for Prime members https://ele

Arcade stick?

I've heard good things about the Hori Fight Stick. I personally own the Obsidian 2 by Qanba and it's excellent. That said, if you're going from controller to something else I strongly recommend learning leverless instead of stick. Razer Kitsune, Qanba Sapphire, Turtle Beach Victrix Pro KO. Leverless

Is this a good controller to play GG Strive?

I already have it since it was a gift from my birthday. The xbox controller is easier to use but i hears this Razer Kitsune is super good for fighting games. So i dont know if I should stick with Razer since it is more of a learning curve

Learning both a new controller and a fighting game is low-key the move, because you can't be disappointed in what you do (compared to learning a new controller but already knowing how to play the game), and also yes the razer kitsune is very nice to play ggst with I've had mine for a week now

40-year-old fighting game noobie. I made it to Diamond!

What type of controller are you using? I am using a Razer Kitsune leverless controller, though I am interested in trying another as well. It is kind of hard to justify replacing a 300€ piece of equipment though. I started out on a cheaper Haute42 leverless but it felt a bit small. I also tried an ar

Changing from controller to lever less

I switched from my old 8 arc fightstick to a razer kitsune because of the portability aspect of it. It took me maybe 6 hours to feel like I can move left to right, and probably over 15 hours before I could do dp motions consistently on both sides. But now, it's second nature for me. Keep at it, even

For those using an arcade stick to play

I play on the razer kitsune (leverless) and i didn’t change the button layout for standard. I have no issues using boost where it is by default. It wasn’t awkward placement for me, it was just learning the controls as new player but now it’s super easy.
