That sucks, dude. The v3's are still great mice. I had the VV3 for about 10 days earlier this year and it occurred to me a new one was probably about to drop, so I returned it to Best Buy with the intention of buying a v4 when it released. If the quality feels that poor, there's a good chance you got a fake since the DeathAdder Essential is by far the most faked Razer mouse.
