Are Razer laptops really that defective?

Online, you’ll only see a filtered version of reality as it’s only the minority with (admittedly legitimate in many cases) complaints who take the time to come online and complain about it. The vast majority of people have no issues. Personally I’ve had a Blade 15 and now a Blade 16, and both have b

Swollen Battery: Anyone had any luck with other brands, or should I stick with Razer OEM? Looking at iFixit. Reviews look solid.

Hey man, I literally just changed mine yesterday because it was swollen. I have a Razer Blade 15 from 2020. I went with iFixit because they're a trusted brand and I didn't wan't a bunch of bullshit and/or damage just to save like $30. I'd say even if you don't go with them, check out their replaceme

It's a sad day

My current Alienware 15 r2 also lasted 10 years, it's still running but definitely not how it should anymore. I had 3 Alienwares in total and only this one lasted that long. Now I'm switching to the dark side with a Razer Blade 18 🫢

Is this year's 14 as bad as it sounds? This is the one I was wanting to order.

I got a replacement battery for my 2020 Razer Blade 15 Studio Edition off Amazon, it's the exact same cell just from a third party manufacturer, I bought it about a year ago, cost me ~$100 I think. Honestly, with my Nvidia Quadro RTX 5000 Max-Q, Intel i7-10785H, 32 GB Ram, and 1 TB Samsung M.2 NVME

The Blackwidow v4 experience that made me quit Razer.

I've been extremely happy with my 2019 Razer Blade 15 Advanced laptop. I'm not sure a lemon keyboard would make me alienate a brand. Sounds like it was more of an issue with the 3rd party warranty provider in Brazil

Who buys Razer laptops?

I used to own one of them. They customer service was great. But I can’t say the same for their product. I got a razer blade 15 with rtx 2070 back in 2020. it was expensive but also well designed and has a long battery life compared to any gaming laptops, which was important for me because I was high

What does this mean?

I can see that your laptop is a 2021 model, have you ever replaced the battery pack itself? , gaming laptop battery’s require replacement occasionally depending on usage, if you game alot the battery will need to be replaced sooner, as the heat from continuous load will result in the battery swellin

Regret My Purchase - Device is Bad and Customer Service is Worse. DO NOT BUY FROM RAZER.

I get it that their support is poor but understand that company isnt so big as you think it is. Me personally just bought a used 2019 razer blade 15, i had couple of issues so far, but as I guy who fixed phones and laptos I could say that you just need more pacience and testing for products to work
