Indeed. I've bought some Razer stuff a few years ago (a Kraken, a Naga, a Blackwidow), and every single piece fell apart within a year or two, whereas equivalent products from competitors are still working just fine.

I am baffled as well. I've had plenty of different brands of keyboards in the past most recently a Razer BlackWidow V3 and have never had this issue before.

But basically if you’re after a quieter Razer keyboard and want to avoid clacky keys, you’ll want to skip anything with Razer’s Green switches or the optical clicky options. Really depends on your budget, but I personally wouldn't go for any one of these. But if I were to choose one, it would have to be either the ASUS one if you use it for non gaming needs. If you want something mainly for gaming, Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro all the way.
