I've wondered this myself and couldn't find any reviews where someone had actually directly compared the V2 and the V2X in any meaningful capacity. I have a Razer Blackshark V2 X wired headset with unbalanced (Mostly left side dominant) volume controls.

I fixed it by disassembling my headset and cleaning the Potentiometer with some Isopropyl Alcohol, it works perfectly with my headset.

Tutorial on how to fix this:

1- Search for "Sound" in Windows.

2- Find your headset under Playback.

3- Right-click on it and select "Properties."

4- Go to the "Enhancements" tab.

5- Check the box for "Disable all sound effects."
