I just got this headset, how can I fix it any idea? Its not showing up on synapse. The mic sounds shrill, prolly an equaliser problem

Hey, I bought this headset today ( The 3.5 mm jack version, not the usb), and i am very dissatisfied with the volume, even at max volume it is very quiet, i even installed the 7.1 surround sound app and configured it properly, and it doesn't make any difference at all, any idea on how to fix this?
