Tutorial on how to fix this:
1- Search for "Sound" in Windows.
2- Find your headset under Playback.
3- Right-click on it and select "Properties."
4- Go to the "Enhancements" tab.
5- Check the box for "Disable all sound effects."

I know they are a cheaper headset, but I don’t use headphones very often. After messing with the free trial of THX and adjusting the EQ settings I found they sounded better than out of the box, but I’m not good with these types of things and wondered if anyone knew of optimal settings for gaming?

Hey, I bought this headset today ( The 3.5 mm jack version, not the usb), and i am very dissatisfied with the volume, even at max volume it is very quiet, i even installed the 7.1 surround sound app and configured it properly, and it doesn't make any difference at all, any idea on how to fix this?
