Did it because Razer wouldn't.
The gold’s are supposed to last alot longer even though it’s alot more tactile. There are dustproof encoders in the style this mouse uses. Mine the razer basilisk ultimate v3 doesn’t have any dustproof it uses a square ttc wired encoder

MildlyInteresting: Bought the Same G502 Mouse 5 Years Apart. On the Newer one Logitech Skimps on the Sleeved Cable.
Currently using Razer Basilisk Ultimate, this one is starting to show its age so to speak. My son is using my old g402 that is still somewhat functioning, at least i have not heard complains about double clicks yet as that was the reason it ended up in storage originally.

Are there other people who has has nothing but resilient Razer products?
Right here. Imma make a short list of all the products I’ve bought but first let me just say I used to have hyperx, Logitech, and Corsair gear and finally just started getting razer gear because everything kept breaking after a year or two or having software issues. Kraken v3 pro headset - had it fo

I want to get a razor basilisk v3 but I heard so many reliability horror stories
I have a Basilisk Ultimate, which I realize is probably older than the V3 but I have nothing but praise to speak of it. I've always used Razer mice and I still have an old Naga that still works, they've never broken down on me but I also take very good care of my things. My old SNES and Nintendo DS

Razer Basilisk V3 Pro owners, how is your mouse after 1+ year of use?
Had my v3 pro since it came out. I upgraded from the basilisk ultimate which I’ve been using since 2020 so I can speak on both. Firstly the ultimate has been my daily driver for over 5 years and I still use it as a travel mouse for my work setup. Still works great with little to no issues aside from

My Razer Viper ultimate finally died after 2 years. Won't charge. Can I fix it somehow? I love this mouse
Try cleaning it they’re really sensitive. Mine has come back to life three times already; it’s 6 or 7 years old and still working. Also, try unplugging and plugging your mouse back in, and reinstall Synapse. Sometimes it just won’t charge, looks like the mouse needs a reset to start charging again.

Brand new Keyboard is busted
oof...my only other choice is to get another hotswappable mechanical keyboard...I lost faith in Razer peripheral products...overpriced and likely to break within the warranty...(personal bad experience with most of it...my own Razer Basilisk Ultimate mouse died under 1 year, and others mostly 6-9mon
