Insta360 GO 3S vs DJI Osmo Nano – for baby moments + occasional biking?
I went through the same mindset as you. Here is what I bought and ended up using the most for kid moments: Bought: Insta360 X3, x5, GO 3S and Meta RayBans 2 Used most: Insta360 X3 (now X5) and Meta Raybans Why: Kids move a lot. You’re going to need to have your hands free a lot. Boom, meta sunglasse

Ray-Ban Meta Glasses Gen 1 vs Gen 2
I keep a guide on my website for this exact question: https://monarchxr.com/ray-ban-meta-2025-vs-2023-comparison/ For your use case, id honestly suggest saving some money and just grabbing the Gen 1. The Gen 2 have far better battery life and a slightly better camera, but if you don't care about tho

Check out ray-ban meta gen 2, one of the best smart glassses for filming. I also love that they still look like normal sunglasses, not a tech gadget.

I tested 9 AI smart glasses across 4 real-world situations — unsponsored, here’s what happened
So if you want to use the camera for live streaming, then in theory that is the Mentra Live’s whole value proposition (ie live streaming, which I understand is different than podcasting but could be in that general bucket). In practice, I haven’t tried it yet personally but have read the quality is

3 honest questions for the smart glasses community
This is kind of a big question. There's a few things A good balance of all the existing features. most smart glasses have a camera with no HUD, however the few that have HUD's (like the Even Realities G2) may not have the best placement, or don't typically have cameras. And some of the ones that hav

What the hell is AI Glasses?
So I know a lot of people hate Meta, and EssilorLuxottica, but these are pretty neat frfr. The speakers are really good for open ear, the camera is neat for candid moments, the ai is useful in the way Siri is useful. I cook a lot, I love not having to get my hands dirty to set a timer or do a pov vi

AirPod glasses replacement
I get what you’re saying, $700 for glasses with built in display is not terrible. But given the Even G2s don’t have speakers, I’m down to the Meta Display and I don’t want to pay $300 for a “gimmick” - it’s a really cool feature but not a priority in my books. I’ve narrowed down my choices to the Ra

Camera quality
When you say Gen 1 do you mean Ray Ban Stories? The Ray-Ban Meta glasses were a new product and so the first version of that is called Gen 1 and the Gen 2 just released last week. The camera in the display glasses is the same as the Gen 2 and better than Gen 1. It is also significantly better than R

My fellow concert goers, have you ever taken a camera that isn't your phone?
I got mine as a gift, but I took my RayBan Meta glasses and it took GREAT concert footage...and I didn't have to hold something in my hand. However, anytime I wanted to take some footage, I'd have to keep my head as still as possible, but I could move my body and it didn't affect the footage.
