Boss asked me if I wanted a 3d printer, to give him 3-levels of options
Ok well you have options, there are just pros and cons with all of them. Bambu P1S w/ AMS - Enclosed, fast, will handle most these materials. May need to upgrade extruder if you plan to do filled materials after awhile, it tends to get eaten. Doesn't get super hot in enclosure (thin sheet metal, no

3D Printing parts question
For "functional" parts you want an FDM (fused deposition modeling) printer. Resin prints are generally weaker and print volumes are usually much smaller. I'd suggest at least a 250x250x250mm build volume, but I suspect some parts will want something even larger. You'll need something that can handle

Advice on Filament for engineering
I haven’t tried anything myself personally aside from cc3d 72D TPU transparent, and I’d say the layer bonding isn’t quite what normal TPU can get you but it’s probably 75-80% of the way there, much better than PETG for sure. I’m actually going to be printing some random bits and bobs using nylon tri

What allows newer Qidi printers to go up to 65C chamber heater instead of the Q1 Pros 60C?
RP2040 doesn't like heat. In the Q1 the toolhead has no ventilation so at 60 °C the rp2040 is at its limits (yes the rp2040 can run 20 °C hotter than the air around it). Maybe newer models improved the ventilation, or they switched to a rp2350 which has higher temperature tolerance. If you print htt

Qidi Q1 Pro holder for TPU spool
I tried printing from a dry box (also my own design: https://www.printables.com/model/1380345-filament-box-with-dry-system-for-qidi-q1-pro) several times - the filament is fed through a small section of tube, which causes additional friction. But I still tend to think that retractions should have be

Hogyan ismerkedjek meg olyan emberekkel, akikről ezek a "rémsztorik" szólnak? :D

Looking for Advice
Really? That's your only advice to a specific question that OP asked? My A1 Combo is a great printer, but it has had its own headaches (I had to stop using it for a couple of weeks after first getting it due to a recall, and there is a new current/heat issue with the newer A1 printers). I have frien

Heat wrapped
I cooked my QIDI Q1 pro running it at 85C (for POM and PVDF) instead of the default 70C. For Q2 I haven't gone above 79C (throws an error at 80C and I'm too lazy to patch it) and it works great for ~1k hours (although most of the time it's 70C for ASA)

Just purchased the Kobra S1 but worried with all the bed leveling issues
Nice. That's good news I got the blue build plate everyone is going crazy and tye ceramic hotend that's suggested. It was sort of a purchase out of the blue for me. I got a offer of $180 off on eBay bringing it down to $500 AUD. I. Already have a qidi q1 pro but heard certain parts are epoxied in an
