What you should know: Qidi support is excellent at helping you fix problems yourself and shipping parts to you, but they are extremely, extremely, extremely reluctant to accept returns. If you need a return, good luck. A lot of folks recommend buying Qidi printers from Amazon for this reason, becaus

You can't get a much better deal than the Qidi q2. You obviously see the specs it offers. It prints absolutely beautifully. I have had zero issues with this printer and the print quality is just awesome. It uses finer tooth spacing on the belts that really helps eliminate vfa's. I have a Creality K2

Gaming? Videobear

You say this but this was not my experience. After a 50 hour 350 degree print, the sock is toast and on a subsequent print it fell apart without me touching it and ended up getting dragged by the nozzle destroying the print. So while I appreciate being told over and over to expect this implying that

fresh update - tech support got back to me and recommended first a factory reset through the UI, and if still having issues, to send them a log dump. i had a hunch this would be the case, but didn't want to try it and find out they wanted a different process. the factory reset seems to have worked.

Have a look into newest generation of qidi printers. $$ to spec value they are pretty hard to beat. Have chamber heater and print abs/asa/engineering materials without fuss. I print a lot of pc-abs, plus 4 is my go to printer for it. I have a plus 4 - 300mm bed. Earlier batches had some issues, seem

IF you’re going with a Bambu, it’s definitely better to get the combo. I think the point that they were making is that a tool changer is superior to an AMS in many ways. It’s faster, less wasteful, capable of supporting more types of filament (TPU and brittle finicky filaments). Based on the introdu

Which app are you trying? QIDI has 2 in the app store. The one that works with the Max 4 is QIDI Maker You mean just homing all axis? I only ever had that happen after a power failure and an attempt to continue the print, which hadn't actually strted printing and was only in the mesh generating phas

I also have the Max 4 on preorder. 80% of my prints are ASA and I rarely use multi-color, still opted for the combo. However, based on recent reviews, the printer seems a bit "meh"—specifically, it feels undertested and unpolished. There are several oversights that QIDI should have caught in-house:

Dep, I can only offer to give your my honest (and I'm new to this hobby, 4 months in), opinions and see if it helps you make a decision. I'll post at least once a week on how it's going (and maybe more if I need help) and if you're in no hurry, maybe it will help. I bought a Elegoo CC1 (and I now ad
