We considered it but I think we’re gonna go with an old school like Sealy or Serta. My friend who reviews mattresses professionally recommended that. She said if you get purple, the most expensive one is the only one worth it.

Purple mattresses get many hit or miss reviews but the Purple mattress protector specifically has been named as one of the most comfortable to use, in not changing the feel of the mattress or soft toppers.

A few things: The Purple Premier 4 hasn’t been made or sold new in a while. The model was replaced with the restore line in Summer 2023. Is there any chance this was sold to you as a discounted floor display? If not it’s still old stock and they should not be selling old stock as new at this point.
