also happened to my EC2-C, the mouse is grounded and also when I flick, my whole PC shuts down lol. I just switched to wireless ever since, currently using EC3-DW and pulsar x2h mini. It broke in a year or 2 because it used to bang my monitor stand, so i bought a monitor arm as well. U can check tho
