Advice on multicolor printers
When it comes to multi colour 3D printing, there are two types: the AMS like systems where multiple filaments share a single nozzle ( like the ones you mentionned ) , and the toolchangers where each filament has its own nozzle. The AMS like systems are the most common and are pretty cheap, but they

Is the H2C worth it?
I'm nearly 100% certain the Prusa will be more than the H2C. Consider the H2S vs the CoreOneL.The H2S has a larger print volume, it is faster and according to multiple reviewers it has slightly better print quality. The L is 20% more. We know what the INDX will cost (more or less). The 8 core costs

Who's postponing purchasing?
I had one one pre order actually scheduled to ship this week. Just cancelled and ordered an H2D. I just couldn't justify the high price even with the earlier price that I paid for what I was getting. As more reviews came out I started to see the cracks. This is coming from someone who owns an XL so

Tempted to get an H2D, what convinced you?
I had an Ultimaker 3 that was starting to feel very long in the tooth. I absolutely did not want to give up the dual-nozzle capability, which seemed increasingly rare on the market. Most of Ultimaker's newer models seemed like "the same thing for a lot more money" so the upgrading in-brand didn't se

Opinion about the H2D?
I don’t think the price is justifiable. It's not cheap, but there's nothing in the price range with its capabilities. The closest are 4 or more times the price and aimed at business customers. The creality and qidi do claim similar specs, but neither come close to delivering. I’m waiting for the new

BIG Kudos to Prusa for their company values
For sure, Prusa would be cheaper in Europe for European customers, as it is more local; and maybe US customers once they get their local manufacturing up and running (and with tariffs on chinese products) Time will tell with the durability, but I put in 8000 hours on my X1C in a short amount of time

My Experience with Prusa - Opinions Needed
I'm no fanboy of any brand. When I decided to buy a 3d printer in 2023, I was looking at all the offerings and the mk4 and the x1c were the last one I had in mind. I decided on the x1c because the reviews were pretty good and seems like to be closer to a tools than a project. Yes, it's closed but I
